Northrop Grumman Awarded U.S. Navy E-2 Hawkeye and C-2 Greyhound Maintenance Contract

HERNDON, Va., Nov. 7, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC - News) a contract to provide maintenance for both E-2C Hawkeye and C-2A Greyhound aircraft at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, Md..

The firm-fixed-price contract is worth more than $37 million dollars over five years.

Per the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide aircraft maintenance, logistics and aviation administrative services for E-2C and C-2A aircraft assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 20 (VX-20) at Patuxent River.
