STI to Present At IWPC's LTE Week On November 13, 2008

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Nov. 3, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Superconductor Technologies Inc. Hammond, chief technical officer and senior vice president, will present at the Verizon Wireless-hosted event: ``LTE Network Deployment Options: Implementing next-generation mobile networks with minimum CAPEX and OPEX'' on November 13th. The event is part of LTE Week, which is being held in San Diego and sponsored by International Wireless Industry Consortium (IWPC).

Verizon's LTE Network Deployment Options program will examine implementation of LTE networks and provide participants with a better understanding of how LTE infrastructure will be different than 3G hardware, including how to upgrade existing cell sites and outfit new sites.

Dr. Hammond's presentation is titled ``Evaluating 700 MHz LTE MIMO Network Performance with Current and Emerging Interference Challenges.''
