Prepare Yourself for An Enduring Quest for Answers -- New Book Follows the Exploits of a Young Man Struggling to Figure Out What All His Dreams Mean SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 9, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dreams are
often difficult to interpret. Some of them end up as random
fantasies while some are vague references about the future,
the past and what we have left undone in life. An engaging
quest in a search for answers and meaning begins in Marina,
a new book authored by Spirit Davis and released through
Xlibris. Marina follows the exploits of a young man who tries to figure out what his dreams mean, which took place during his high school days. Soon enough, he visits psychics in Japan and England searching for answers and interpretations on his dreams. Along the way, he learns about the world of metaphysics and goes on to visit Greece where he meets a gorgeous woman. By falling in love with her, he gets inspired to start an astrology business. Despite these developments however, more questions come out than answers. When will he realize the meaning of his dreams? Read the book to find out. For more information, please visit Xlibris.com. About the Author Spirit Davis spent his school years in San Francisco. After high school (Lincoln - class of Spring ``54'') he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a radio operator, journalist, photographer, and broadcaster. He retired after twenty-two years and returned home to San Francisco in November of 1976. He then worked as a purchasing agent in private industry, but missed the camaraderie of the military world. He applied for a position with Headquarters, 6th U.S. Army at the Presidio of San Francisco, and was accepted. When the Presidio closed he then moved on to the General Services Administration working in law enforcement. He retired from that position in August of 2007. An accomplished photographer, he has had his pictures featured in magazines and books. He started writing as a way of relieving stress from his job at the time. As he says, ``I could come home at the end of the day, sit at my computer, and escape into a fantasy world. Any stress I may have accumulated during the day seemed to disappear.'' This is his third novel and has nearly finished his fourth. He and his wife live in San Francisco. They have five sons and two daughters. They also have thirteen grandchildren.
