ACE Live Release 7.0 introduces a new software module for NetFlow traffic data collection and reporting, and extends integration with OPNET's industry-leading ACE(tm) Analyst software for application performance analysis and troubleshooting.

ACE Live is an end-to-end solution that spans monitoring, measurement, and detection of application performance violations, providing visibility of all transactions and users across the enterprise. The ACE Live NetFlow Module collects traffic data captured by Cisco Systems network devices in the popular NetFlow format, and reports on key traffic flow-related metrics such as applications and links consuming the most bandwidth. With the introduction of the new NetFlow Module, ACE Live becomes the industry's first solution to combine end-user experience monitoring and NetFlow traffic reporting in a single solution, on a single hardware appliance.

ACE Live Release 7.0 also extends integration with OPNET's ACE Analyst that was first introduced in ACE Live Release 6.2 in May 2008. With this latest software release, ACE Live can automatically capture a slow application transaction when a performance threshold is violated. Then, ACE Analyst can be used to provide deep drill-down into the individual transaction to find the actual root cause of the performance problem.
