Northrop Grumman Cuts Ribbon On Colorado Springs Airport Business Park Campus

State and Local Officials to Join Company Representatives for Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 21, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC - News), one of the largest defense contractors in Colorado Springs, will cut the ribbon today on a 124,000-square-foot building located at Colorado Springs Airport Business Park.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is expected to include Donald M. Elliman Jr., Colorado director of economic development and international trade; Lionel Rivera, mayor of the city of Colorado Springs; Steve Nesterak, president of Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group; John Faulkner, assistant director of aviation planning and development for the city of Colorado Springs; Philip A. Teel, Northrop Grumman corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector; and Tim McMahon, Northrop Grumman corporate lead executive for the Colorado Springs region.

Over time the company will consolidate more than 400 employees from existing buildings in the Colorado Springs area. The building will house employees who work on Intercontinental Ballistic Missile integration; space and satellite operations; space surveillance and control; and intelligence training, among other things.
