| The investment seeks to provide performance and income that is comparable to the Standard & Poor's MidCap 400 index (S&P MidCap 400). The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of companies in the S&P MidCap 400. It typically holds all 400 stocks included in the S&P MidCap 400, in approximately the same proportions as they are represented in the index. The fund tries to achieve a correlation between the performance of its portfolio and that of the S&P MidCap 400 of at least 0.95. |
