The fund invests at least 80% of assets in bonds, which include U.S. government securities and high-quality corporate bonds, mortgage-related securities, and asset-backed securities. It Fund may also invest up to 10% of assets in issues which are rated below BBB but have a minimum rating of B by Moody's and/or S&P at the time of investment. The fund may maintain an average duration of between three and six years, which the managers expect to be within one year of the duration of the Lehman Brothers Aggregate Bond Index. |
