| The investment seeks to provide as high a level of current interest income exempt from federal income tax and California state personal income tax as is consistent with the relative stability of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of assets in securities the interest on which is exempt from regular federal income tax and CA personal income tax. It will not invest in securities the interest on which is a tax preference item for purposes of the federal alternative minimum tax. The fund invests at least 65% of net assets in investment-grade municipal securities with a maturity of more than one year. |
