| Atlas Energy Resources, LLC, together with its subsidiaries, develops and produces natural gas and oil principally in northern Michigan’s Antrim Shale and the Appalachian Basin covering Kentucky, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee. It owns interests in approximately 10,719 gross wells, of which the company operated approximately 8,829 wells; and an interest in a joint venture that gives right to drill approximately 212,000 acres in Tennessee. As of December 31, 2007, the company had proved reserves of approximately 666.8 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalents. It also involves in the well construction and completion, administration and oversight, well services, and gathering operations. Atlas Energy Resources is based in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. |
