| Atlas America, Inc., through its subsidiary, Atlas Energy Resources, LLC, operates as an independent developer and producer of natural gas and oil. It also had working interests in a total of 5,579 net productive wells. Atlas America, Inc., through its other subsidiary, Atlas Pipeline Holdings, L.P., also owns the general partner of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P., which operates as a midstream energy service provider engaged in the transmission, gathering, and processing of natural gas in the Mid-Continent and Appalachia regions. The company was founded in 2000 and is based in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. |
