In 1986, Guy Goulet graduated with an engineering degree in geology from l'Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. Mr. Goulet has sat on several boards of directors for both public and private companies over the past 20 years. His extensive network of contacts in the corporate and financial worlds will contribute to the rapid development of projects undertaken by Maya Gold and Silver.

Guy Goulet will join an experienced board of directors in complementary sectors:

Rejean Gosselin - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Rejean Gosselin is a geologist and had obtained a Master degree in geology from Universite Laval in 1979. For more than 25 years, he has been director and officer of several Canadian public mining companies. Over the past 5 years, he has been involved in mining exploration in Mexico.

Ghislaine Godin - Chief Financial Officer

Ghislaine Godin is a member of the Ordre des comptables agrees du Quebec and has a vast experience as consultant for public companies. She has worked at Ernst & Young LLP for a period of approximately ten years.

John G. Booth - Director

John G. Booth graduated from sciences and has a joint Canadian and US Law degree. He obtained his LLM in international finance and environmental law at King's College, University of London. He worked in different organizations such as CEDEF Finance Ltd. in London and Geneva, in ABN AMRO Bank NV in London and Amsterdam, BUYFX Ltd. in Hamilton (Bermuda), Federal Capital City Advisors in Washington DC. and Conservation Finance International (the trading name of JAS Financial Products LP).

Rene Branchaud - Secretary and Director

Rene Branchaud holds an LLB from Universite Laval. He is a lawyer and a partner at the law firm Lavery, de Billy, L.L.P. Mr. Branchaud is specialized with public mining companies over the past 20 years.

Stephan P. Muller - Director

Stephan P. Muller holds a degree in business economics and an MBA from the University of Zurich. Since 1997, he has been a financial and business consultant. He is an internationally regarded business executive with more than 20 years of senior executive management positions as CEO, CFO and COO in several international companies including Apple Computer Europe.

Mackenzie I. Watson - Director

Mackenzie I. Watson has 45 years of exploration experience and has been involved in the discovery of numerous coal, base metals and gold deposits in Canada. He has received the Canada's Prospector of the Year Award in 1991. He has also received the Quebec's Prospector of the Year Award in 1992.

Martin Wong - Director

Martin Wong is a member of the Ordre des comptables agrees du Quebec and is an experienced corporate financial executive, investment banker and chartered accountant accomplished in investments, capital markets, investment banking, relation management and loan restructuring.
