American CareSource Holdings Appoints James T. Robinson to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

DALLAS, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 13, 2008 -- American CareSource Holdings, Inc. (NasdaqCM:ANCI - News) today announced that James T. Robinson has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. Mr. Robinson, 48, will report directly to David S. Boone, President and Chief Executive Officer, and will be responsible for directing all sales and marketing activities for the Company's growing national network of ancillary care providers.

Commenting on today's news, Mr. Boone stated, "Jim brings vast healthcare experience to the Company and we are delighted to welcome him to the American CareSource team. Jim's position addresses a critical need for the Company as we continue to gain market share in a rapidly growing market."

Prior to joining American CareSource, Mr. Robinson served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer of VistaCare, Inc., where he helped lead the turnaround and eventual sale of the $230 million nationwide hospice/healthcare services company based in Scottsdale, AZ. Prior to joining VistaCare, Mr. Robinson was President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthBanks, Inc., an innovative, private-equity backed e-Health Network Company that connects specialty physicians to their patients. Before HealthBanks, Mr. Robinson was co-founder of Avicenna Systems Corporation, a venture capital backed e-Health Physician Practice Solutions Company that was acquired by WebMD.

Mr. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College and holds an MBA from Harvard University.
