OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 10, 2008 -- Melkior Resources Inc., ("Melkior") (CDNX:MKR.V - News), is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathalie Hansen as Director of Melkior effective November 7, 2008, subject to regulatory approval. The Board of Directors has granted 300,000 stock options to Nathalie Hansen exercisable for a period of 5 years at $0.10 per share.

Nathalie Hansen graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation she worked in the power electronics industry for Lucent Technologies Power Systems and Tyco Electronics Power Systems in Dallas, Texas designing power supplies for the OEM market. In 2005 she returned to Canada and has been actively involved in mining exploration. She has conducted geophysical surveys in Ontario, Quebec, Labrador and Nunavut. Currently Nathalie is a consultant to various mineral exploration companies including project management for Melkior where she organizes exploration projects, data processing, claim staking and claim management.

The board of directors consisting of Lee Barker, Florent Baril, Norman Farrell and Jens Hansen is pleased to welcome Nathalie on board and look forward to her contribution to the exploration success of our company.

Melkior is focussing on mineral exploration in existing mining camps (Timmins, Launay, Raglan) and in emerging new camps (Mc Faulds).
