LA PRAIRIE, QUEBEC--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 10, 2008 -- The management of Vantex Resources Ltd (CDNX:VTX.V - News) announces that, drilling on the northern portion of the Santa Anna property, returned a section of 48 metres (core length) grading 0.406 g/t Au which includes 11.70 metres grading 1.326 g/t Au.

Vantex just completed a 13 holes drilling program totalling 1,494 metres. This program was mostly aimed at verifying historical results mentioned in various records in Quebec government files.

Vantex recent results do confirm the gold potential of the Santa Anna property. All drill holes completed in the northern sector of the property returned anomalous gold values. It shall be noted that various results exhibit strong nugget effect possibly due to coarse gold particles. For example, sample #65179, assayed 6 times, returned the following results: 4.2 gt/Au, 0.82 gt/Au, 2.3 gt/Au, 9.86 gt/Au, 1.78 gt/Au and 1.03 gt/Au for an average grade of 3.158 gt/Au

In order to properly estimate the average grade of the gold deposit, the company intends to proceed with cyanidation and gravimetric recovery tests at the URSTM laboratory of Rouyn-Noranda. These tests will also evaluate potential treatment flowsheets for the ore.

These holes were all drilled on the north zone of the Santa Anna project. None tested the Zone 8 area. Current work is being done under the supervision of Daniel Kelly and Pierre O'Dowd, both geologists and qualified persons as per NI43-101. All samples were prepared and assayed at Laboratoire Expert of Rouyn-Noranda.

Samples are first assayed by AA (atomic absorbtion) then all samples grading equal or above one g/t Au were reassayed by fire assay (FA). A quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program comprising standards and blanks is being followed.
