Final Days for Flu Fighter Clinics at Cub: Financial News

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 6, 2008 -- It's only a matter of time before the flu returns to the upper Midwest. Now is the time to get vaccinated against this potentially life-threatening illness.

The annual Health Fair 11 Flu Fighter Clinics make vaccinations both convenient and affordable. A final round of flu shot clinics will be held at all Minnesota Cub Foods locations November 12 - 15, 2008. So far this fall, more than 45,000 people have been vaccinated at the Flu Fighter Clinics.

Flu Fighter Clinic details

Flu shots will be offered at all Minnesota Cub Foods locations. Appointments are not necessary. Here are the specific dates and times for Flu Fighter Clinics:

 
--  Wednesday, November 12th 2:00 - 8:00pm
--  Thursday, November 13th 2:00 - 8:00pm
--  Friday, November 14th 2:00 - 8:00pm
--  Saturday, November 15th 10:00 am - 4:00pm

The cost for a flu shot is just $28. Many insurance plans will cover the cost. Bring along your insurance card. MVNA uses all the proceeds from the Flu Fighter Clinics to support charity health care nursing services and programs.

Plenty of vaccine available this year

Nurses with the Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency (MVNA) will vaccinate anyone age four and older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
