DUBLIN, IRELAND--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 29, 2008 -- Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. ("AIB") (NYSE:AIB - News) will issue an Interim Management Statement at 07.00 GMT on Wednesday, 5th November 2008. This release will be available on our website www.aibgroup.com/investorrelations.

Management will host a conference call at 08.00 GMT, details of which will be included in the Interim Management Statement.

Group results for the year ending 31st December 2008 will be announced on 2nd March 2009.
