Movêro Technology Enhances Management Team With Key Appointments

Melanie Gray Appointed to Lead the Company's Day-to-Day Operations and Strategic Direction

AUSTIN, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 28, 2008 -- Movêro Technology today announced key management team appointments that will lay the foundation for continued strong growth as the company moves into the second phase of its expansion. Melanie Gray, a seasoned industry executive with extensive operational experience, has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Gray, formerly Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances at Movêro, will be responsible for stewarding all aspects of the company's operations and strategic direction. Gray takes over the CEO responsibilities from co-founder Bruce Friedman who will move into the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer where he will be responsible for driving the company's strategic technology initiatives.

The company also announced the appointment of John Smolucha as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. With more than 20 years of technology marketing experience, Smolucha will be responsible for overseeing worldwide marketing operations and will strengthen Movêro's ability to execute on its vision of helping enterprise organizations leverage and manage the adoption of mobile technology.

With more than 15 years of operational leadership experience, Melanie brings a broad base of financial, marketing and management talents to her role as CEO. Before joining Movêro, Ms. Gray was at Cisco (formerly NetSolve Inc.), a managed services company, where she managed strategic relationships with AT&T and IBM for the implementation of innovative joint service offerings. She was instrumental in developing several key opportunities with third party providers, resulting in new partners and services for the delivery of remote network services.

Prior to her position at Cisco, Gray launched the "Laptops for Students" program at Dell. She has held various sales and marketing roles at 3M and Abbott Labs in addition to five years at KPMG. Gray holds her M.B.A. in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and B.A. in Accounting and Business from Muskingum College.
