EMERYVILLE, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 27, 2008 -- LECG Corporation (XPRT - News), a global expert services firm, today announced that its board of directors has appointed Richard Boulton as a new member. Mr. Boulton presently heads LECG's finance and accounting services (FAS) business segment. With the appointment of Mr. Boulton, there are currently eight members on the LECG board.

Richard Boulton, who is based in the London office, joined LECG in 2002 after a 20-year career at Arthur Andersen. He was managing partner at Arthur Andersen and served as the number two executive worldwide with management responsibility for strategy and all of Arthur Andersen's service categories. He also served as worldwide managing partner, business consulting, where he was responsible for Arthur Andersen's 11,000-person management consulting business. Mr. Boulton has more than 25 years of experience as an accountant and consultant advising on strategic, financial, and economic issues. He has particular expertise in complex damage calculations and has led a number of significant fraud investigations including involvement in the world's largest bank fraud case.
