SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 14, 2008 -- EnergySolutions, Inc. (ES - News) CEO and Chairman of the Board, Steve Creamer, announced today that Jill Sigal has been named Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and Government Relations.

Jill will immediately combine the responsibilities of federal and state government relations, with those of community relations, internal and external corporate communications. She continues to report to Raul Deju, President, EnergySolutions.

Sigal is a 25-year veteran of the energy and environmental cleanup industries. Her most recent position before joining EnergySolutions was as Assistant Secretary of Energy for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.
