SAN ANTONIO, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 14, 2008 -- EADS North America Defense Security and Systems Solutions, Inc. has won the multi-year Information Assurance and Assessment contract from the United States Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA).

EADS-NA Defense Security and Systems Solutions, in conjunction with EDS, will provide support in three Information Assurance (IA) functional areas: IT Security Assessment/Certification and Accreditation, Information Assurance Assessment Program (IAAP) and Air Force IA Policy and Procedures.

The contract's award and start date was on September 30 and is valued at $14.0 million.
