COLORADO SPRINGS, CO--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 14, 2008 -- Ramtron International Corporation (NasdaqGM:RMTR - News), a leading developer and supplier of nonvolatile ferroelectric random access memory (F-RAM) and integrated semiconductor products, has announced the appointment of Jimmy Low as Area Sales Director - Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Mr. Low will be responsible for the growth of Ramtron's business in the Asia Pacific region. The role encompasses further strengthening the company's existing sales infrastructure and employing sales channel strategies that will enhance the market presence and increase the market penetration of Ramtron's unique portfolio of F-RAM-based products.

Jimmy Low replaces Alex Tsui who takes on the role of worldwide marketing director at Ramtron where he will head up the company's global marketing team with overall responsibility for product line marketing as well as applications and technical support.

Mr. Low joins Ramtron from Fairchild Semiconductor, where he spent more than ten years in sales management positions. Following his role as district sales manager at Fairchild in 1997, Mr. Low went on to become regional sales director for South Asia, responsible for managing a team that generated more than $150 million in revenue. Prior to being employed by Fairchild, Mr. Low held senior sales and marketing roles with National Semiconductor and Lite-on in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Low received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
