DENVER, CO--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 9, 2008 -- Party City, the nation's largest party retailer, is supporting the Denver community this Columbus Day weekend by donating 10 percent of local store income to the Denver Public Schools Foundation. Denver residents shopping at Party City's Stapleton and South Parker store locations this Saturday, Oct. 11 through Monday, Oct. 13, will help support a wide range of Denver Public School programs that improve student achievement, such as after-school tutoring, enrichment programs, elementary science curriculum, principal leadership training and grant programs for individual schools.

Party City now has 11 stores across the Denver metro area where shoppers can find all of their Halloween celebration needs from an expansive selection of costumes for the entire family to decorations and trick-or-treat candy. In addition to the most comprehensive selection of seasonal merchandise and party supplies, Party City stores now feature Candy City, a one-stop shop for party sweets, Favor City, the party favor headquarters, and a Personalization Studio, providing on-site printing for customized stationery and banners, as well as a broad range of other personalized gifts and favors.
