Muze Expands Geographic Footprint and Accelerates Delivery of New and Advanced Media Information Solutions to International Markets

NEW YORK, NY and LONDON--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 6, 2008 -- Muze Inc., the only independent provider of entertainment information products, media preview and discovery services, today announced the completion of its buyout of Muze Europe Ltd. Muze Europe provides media information on UK and European music, video/film and video game releases to companies to increase their sales of entertainment products and to attract and retain audiences to Internet destinations and mobile environments.

As a wholly owned subsidiary, Muze Europe will be able to offer its customers in the UK and continental Europe access to a much broader range of normalized metadata, expert editorial content and images in video/film, music, video games and books. Muze will continue to support all current Muze Europe entertainment information solutions and media preview services.

Over the coming months Muze Europe media information products will be integrated with the new Muze Media Information 2.0 suite of solutions. These integrated products will offer significant advantages in marketing and merchandising entertainment products, while enriching consumers' experience on internet destinations, social networking sites and within mobile applications. Integration of Muze Europe products with Muze Media Information 2.0 is planned to begin the second quarter of 2009.

"The buyout is a critical step toward better serving our customers worldwide by providing broader international coverage," says Janice P. Anderson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Muze. "Expanding our international footprint will allow us to enter new markets, create new partnerships and continue to deliver new and innovative media information solutions that meet the needs of our global customers."

The new Muze Europe Media Information 2.0 products will offer greater breadth and depth of content with millions of new data elements, provide greater interoperability for faster and easier deployments, and will be optimized to deliver information to a variety of consumer devices including PCs, mobile phones and media servers. Some key new features of the forthcoming Muze Europe Media Information 2.0 will include:

-- Unified Database Structure - Provides a unique data architecture that
is intuitive, adaptable, structurally compact, and optimized for storage.
All Muze Europe Media Information 2.0 products will share similar data
structures and present a consistent approach to data handling. This unified
structure enables hyperlinking across media types and enhances cross media
    merchandising opportunities.
-- Unique Persistent ID System - Covering millions of entertainment
products, our unique persistent ID system represents an industry-changing
shift in how entertainment product data is organized. Unique IDs are
assigned to every actor, film/video, game, artist, album, etc. to creative
full identity managed datasets. These IDs enable businesses to select
specific data attributes, create associations, and easily integrate Muze
enriched content and data into third-party content management and commerce
    applications.
-- Expanded and Enhanced Descriptive Content and Data Relationships -
Enables more efficient search and discovery. The addition of more than 36
million new data elements and nearly 6 million ISRCs increases both the
depth and breadth of Muze's entertainment product information, including
metadata, rich descriptive information, and high-value editorial content.
-- More Timely Data Updates and Flexible Data Delivery Options - Daily
incremental updates ensure the most current content available in the
marketplace, and flexible delivery options include web services-ready XML
    feeds.
