"Infobright Enterprise Edition" Offers All-Inclusive Packages at Industry's Most Affordable Price Points

TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 9, 2008 -- Infobright Inc., the technology leader in analytic data warehousing, today unveiled new subscription pricing that makes data warehousing affordable for all companies that depend on business intelligence to drive their success. The Silver, Gold and Platinum pricing packages are based on the level of support required and include a software license for the solution, product updates, as well as discounts on training and professional services. The company also announced that its flagship product, formerly called "Brighthouse," has been renamed "Infobright Enterprise Edition" (IEE).

The use of business intelligence is accelerating across all industries, outpacing the technical expertise and budget of many organizations. Infobright is introducing its IEE annual subscription pricing packages in direct response to market demand for low-cost, powerful, easy-to-use, and scalable data warehousing options that meet the needs of a greater range of businesses.

"According to a recent Gartner survey, the average spending among respondents for BI and information infrastructure software was $1.7 million, not including services, support, training, or hardware," said Miriam Tuerk, president & CEO of Infobright. "Clearly, this presents an issue for small and mid-sized companies that have a critical need for BI, but not the $1 million or more to invest in the infrastructure to support it. Infobright's vision is to expand the availability of analytic data warehousing to new markets, offering a robust, scalable solution at a cost far below what other providers charge."

IEE's per terabyte subscription pricing is $9,950 for the Silver package, $12,950 for the Gold, and $15,950 for the Platinum. The hardware infrastructure required to support an Infobright data warehouse is a fraction of what other products require, as it can support up to a 30TB database using a single, industry-standard server, while requiring far less storage due to its industry-leading data compression. The combination of low software and hardware costs, as well as the dramatic reduction in implementation and management costs enabled by Infobright's self-managing software, represent an up to 90 percent lower total cost of ownership than other data warehousing products on the market.
