Panasonic Communications Solutions Debuts Premium Doorphones, the Ultimate in Integrated Privacy and Security
Wednesday September 3, 2008 5:00 pm ET

DENVER, CO--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 3, 2008 -- Panasonic today announced the debut of its premium doorphone, model KX-T7765, a sleek addition to the company's suite of home and office networking integration products. The doorphone promotes easy and secure communication between visitors and home or small business owners. Along with Panasonic's PBX systems and network cameras, the doorphone provides a cohesive integrated home networking solution. The premium doorphones, along with many other communication solutions, will be demonstrated at Panasonic's CEDIA Booth, number 825 from September 4 to 7 in Denver, Colorado.

Suitable for both high-end residential and small business applications, the doorphone allows for easy communication between visitors and those at the home or business they intend to reach. It enables two-way conversation with any compatible connected PBX extension. When the doorphone's button is engaged, it automatically rings through to the owner's PBX system and can be answered from any extension in the residence or office.

"Our premium doorphone pairs with our PBX systems and network cameras to provide an advanced, yet easy-to-use, integrated communications system for homes and small businesses," said Bill Taylor, Vice President of Panasonic's Communications Solutions Group. "Users can access the doorphone right from a Panasonic Plasma TV, or from any phone extension in their home or office. They can positively identify their visitor, and either allow or deny access. For further convenience, the doorphone can be programmed to route directly to voicemail at a certain hour."

In addition to its robust technological capabilities, the doorphone sports an aesthetically pleasing exterior. It comes with a brushed finish, which pairs well with a range of architectural styles. The doorphone can be mounted against nearly any flat surface, and can even be installed flush against a wall with a simple electrical box mount. Lastly, the button has a luminous ring that makes it easy to locate in dark or sheltered areas.

The KX-T7765 is compatible with all current Panasonic PBX Systems and will be available from Authorized Panasonic Dealers. For more information, please visit www.panasonic.com/csd.
