DEDHAM, MA--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 2, 2008 -- Reflexis Systems, Inc. today announced the successful implementation of its Retail Execution Management solutions in all retail stores and bank branches of Grupo Elektra, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: ELEKTRA) (LATIBEX: XEKT).

Grupo Elektra is Latin America's leading financial services company and specialty retailer. Reflexis successfully implemented its solutions in each point of sale location of the company.

In just 21 weeks, Reflexis implemented the Spanish-language versions of Task Manager, StoreWalk, and KPI Activator in each point of sale location that Grupo Elektra operates in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Peru, Panama, and Argentina. The implementation took place in approximately 1,000 retail stores, each one of which has an in-store bank branch office, and at the more than 900 independent branches of Banco Azteca, the main subsidiary of Grupo Elektra. Furthermore, Reflexis plans to implement Portuguese-language versions of the solutions for the dynamic expansion expected by Grupo Elektra in Brazil in the following years.

Reflexis was selected over its competition after a thorough review in which the company demonstrated its ability to meet the specific needs of Grupo Elektra. "Retailing in Latin America presents its own set of diverse and unique challenges," said Manuel Gonzalez Palomo, Chief Information Officer of Grupo Elektra. "The highly configurable and flexible Reflexis software supports the wide range of processes in our stores and bank branches."

"Grupo Elektra is our first customer in Latin America. The fact that our highly configurable software is able to meet the complex needs of retailing in this region confirms the R&D investment we made to develop the world's best retail execution solutions," said Prashanth Palakurthi, founder and CEO of Reflexis. "We welcome Grupo Elektra to our select group of customers."
