its private corporate debt group, Integrated Private Debt
Corp.("IPD") announced today the closing of a CAD $15 million
participation in the USD $265 million / CAD $15 million
Senior Notes for Pengrowth Energy Trust (Toronto:PGF-UN.TO - News)(NYSE:PGH - News) ("Pengrowth"). The Canadian dollar financing is a Series
B 6.61% Senior Note with a 10 year term. Proceeds of the
loan will be used to refinance the existing bank debt. Pengrowth is one of the largest oil and gas income trusts in North America. The company's portfolio of assets is well diversified by geography, size, capital requirements, commodity type and extraction methods. Pengrowth has interests in 6 of the 9 largest oil in place reservoirs in western Canada.
