Wednesday August 20, 2008 8:30 am ET

SANTA ROSA, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 20, 2008 -- American TonerServ Corp. (OTC BB:ASVP.OB - News) ("ATS"), a strategic consolidator in the more than $6.0 billion highly fragmented printer supplies and services industry and a leading recycler of toner cartridges, announced today that Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy Andrew Beaurline will be joining industry experts at World Expo 2008, the imaging industry conference organized by Recharger Magazine taking place this week in Las Vegas.

Mr. Beaurline will lead a working session on "The Process of Acquiring Companies." "World Expo continues to be the most important event in the imaging industry. I enjoyed making presentations at World Expo 2006 and 2007 and look forward to doing the same this year," he said. Mr. Beaurline brings his more than 30 years of merger and acquisition, investment banking and venture capital experience to his talk about the various options available to owners.

"I believe we have selected a topic that is relevant to all aftermarket entrepreneurs who would like to participate in the consolidation of the industry that is taking place," said Mr. Beaurline. "We hope to give them the tools to do in their local region what ATS does on a larger national scale." He also plans to discuss what ATS looks for when evaluating an independent provider for acquisition. Finally he will share his insights into the economic reasons for the consolidation that is currently taking place in the business-to-business distribution segment of the printer supplies and service market and the benefits offered by a large-scale, national brand like American TonerServ.

World Expo is a worldwide gathering of imaging industry members that includes product launches, service offerings, peer networking and information sharing. Last year World Expo 2007 attracted 4,500 industry members who were hosted by 285 exhibitors. More than 120 classes were taught by the industry's top names, including Mr. Beaurline. World Expo continues to live up to its name with international attendance from many regions of the world, including the Pacific Rim, South America and Canada.

The Recharger Magazine World Expo 2008 begins August 20. More information about the conference is available at http://www.rechargermag.com/conf/expo2008/.
