Focus+ and Lens+ Technologies Support Pro Photographers Who Demand the Best Image Results

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 13, 2008 -- Phase One today released an update to Capture One 4, the RAW workflow software designed to deliver superior image quality. This release offers to Phase One digital back owners with Hasselblad H, Hasselblad V and Contax mounts the benefits of Lens+ and Focus+ lens correction support.

Lens+ and Focus+ technologies enhance image quality by removing lens artifacts, correcting color aberration and purple fringing and improving image sharpness and resolution.

"Sometimes nature doesn't give you a choice, so it's good that Phase One does," said fine art landscape photographer Tim Wolcott (www.galleryoftheamericanlandscape.com). "Purple fringing occurs most often in high-contrast scenes. These lens correction tools let you get the shot you want and can save hours of post-production."

In keeping with Phase One's commitment to open digital systems solutions, supported lenses now include the following:

Carl Zeiss (Contax) 140mm f2.8
Carl Zeiss (Contax) 35mm
