Clean Water Scientific, Inc. Releases Preliminary Test Results for AquaClens at Home System

RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 12, 2008 -- Preliminary test results for Clean Water Scientific, Inc.'s (CWSI) revolutionary water purification system, AquaClens at Home, show that samples of 20 different pharmaceuticals were effectively reduced by 60 to 93 percent in tested water samples. These tests were conducted at a flow rate of six gallons per minute, which is the equivalent of having several home appliances using water simultaneously, which would exceed normal household water usage. Additional rounds of testing are currently being conducted at lower flow rates that are more typical of residential water usage.

A recent Associated Press investigation exposed dangerous chemicals and other biological contaminants in the water supplies of more than 41 million Americans. Before this report Clean Water Scientific, Inc. (CWSI) began developing AquaClens at Home to reduce these chemical compounds in water.

"Contaminants in our water supplies have been linked to a range of reproductive system problems, including birth defects, premature deliveries and even several types of cancer," said Dennis L. Mast, Ph.D., General Manager of CWSI and developer of the AquaClens at Home. "We are excited to be developing a product that can reduce threats from chemicals in our water and believe subsequent testing will reveal even better results."

The CWSI AquaClens at Home system utilizes a unique process of oxygenation to rid harmful compounds that may cause health problems. The chemicals that were reduced by CWSI's AquaClens at Home system during the preliminary testing include Codeine, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Caffeine, Acetaminophen, Albuterol, Warfarin, Ranitidine, Cimetidine, Sulfamethoxazole, Erythromycin, Ampicillin, Fluoxetine, Progesterone, Testosterone, Estriol, Estrone, 17-alpha-estradiol, 17-beta-estradiol and Mestranol.

CWSI is committed to developing technology solutions for improving the water resources of our world. For more information on CWSI's AquaClens at Home system, please visit www.cleanwaterscientific.com.
