Goldeye Completes Option Requirements to Acquire Balance of Sonia-Puma Property in Chile With TSX Venture Approval

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 7, 2008 -- Goldeye Explorations Limited (Goldeye) (CDNX:GGY.V - News) previously announced July 21, 2008 that it has met all requirements under the option agreement and can earn a 100% interest by making a further payment of $250,000 in either cash or the equivalent sum in common shares of Goldeye based on the average closing trading price on the ten trading days prior to the date of delivery of the shares. On July 23, 2008 the TSX Venture Exchange accepted for filing the delivery of 2,840,909 common shares of Goldeye to Olympus at a deemed price of $0.088 per share as payment. The holding period expires November 24, 2008.

The issued and outstanding shares of Goldeye are 82,347,895, inclusive of the 2,840,909 shares mentioned above.
