TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 6, 2008 -- BROWNSTONE RESOURCES INC. (Other OTC:BWNR.PK - News) has been advised that a tentative start date of September 15, 2008 has been set for drilling to commence on the LS GRANDE property, located in Northern Arizona, as part of the 2008 exploration program currently underway over two target areas.

Approximately 3000 feet of drilling is expected to be completed over the two areas. Management believes that RC drilling is the most cost-effective way to test target models at shallower depths prior to commencing more costly diamond drilling.

It is expected the drilling will take two to three weeks to complete, at which point an update will be provided to shareholders.

In addition to the two target areas identified for exploration this 2008 field season, the Company intends to explore for and possibly identify new target areas over the LS GRANDE Property.
