MOORPARK, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 6, 2008 -- QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com) now offers its Application Test Suite-Intermediate Files (ATS-IFs) through its new QualityLogic Online Storefront. Using top-selling applications from Adobe, Corel, Microsoft, Quark and others, QualityLogic developed ATS-IFs for printer companies to use in testing their printer drivers. Now, software companies whose applications view, edit, analyze, convert, preflight or optimize various file formats are using ATS-IFs to validate the ability of their applications to consume and process files.

Many software companies use test pages that are designed internally or provided by customers to validate the accuracy and performance of their file-manipulation processes. By using QualityLogic's ATS-IFs instead, these companies can free up valuable internal resources and thoroughly exercise the features of their applications in a far more structured and robust way than random customer files can.

QualityLogic graphic designers begin by thoroughly analyzing each application and creating a test specification that details the features to be tested. They then create a series of files, varying in complexity and functionality, which provide the most comprehensive way to test the features of an application.

QualityLogic now offers these detailed test specifications online for each ATS-IF application so users can see how the files were developed. New applications developed for Windows Vista also include thumbnails of the test pages.

For each application supported by QualityLogic, customers receive a set or suite of test files that thoroughly exercises the features of the application. Test files are provided in their native application format (.doc files for Word, .pdf files for Acrobat, etc.) so they can be easily edited for troubleshooting.

ATS-IFs can be ordered online at www.qualitylogic.com. (Click on "Shop QualityLogic.") They are available for the following platforms: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Japanese Language, Korean Language, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Individual software applications, which are required to run the ATS-IFs, are not included. ATS-IFs are shipped on CDs and/or DVDs.
