MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 16, 2008 -- SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (CDNX:SOI.V - News) provides an update on the current exploration activities taking place on some of it's projects in the James Bay area, in Quebec.

URANIUM - UPINOR AND OPINACA NORD PROJECTS:

A diamond drilling program was recently completed in partnership with Dios Exploration Inc. (CDNX:DOS.V - News) on the UPINOR uranium property. Twelve drill holes totaling approximately 1,300 meters and spread over a 3,3 km strike length have intersected the radioactive geological units previously prospected at surface (ref.: 06/05/2008 and 02/26/2008 press releases) including a 35 meters thick pegmatitic dyke. Assays results are pending. Furthermore an helicopter-borne spectrometry and magnetometric survey is being carried out to cover the whole 780-claims property (400 square km) which was expanded following the encouraging results obtained in 2007. More to the south, on the OPINACA NORD property, another but first helicopter-borne spectrometry and magnetometric survey was recently completed.

MOLYBDENUM (COPPER-GOLD) - TILLY PROJECT:

Spectrometry, magnetometric and induced polarization grounds surveys were recently completed on the TILLY property as well as the ground check of numerous drilling targets resulting from the 2007 geological and geophysical surveys. Diamond drilling is scheduled in August on this property.

GOLD - KUKAMES (Opinaca -Eleonore Area) AND ESCALE PROJECTS:

Prospecting and rocks sampling are planned to be done in the next few weeks on these two properties.
