Update to Security Research Portal Improves Industry and Customer Education of Latest Vulnerabilities and Threats

SUNNYVALE, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 30, 2008 -- Fortinet® -- the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions -- today announced that it has significantly enhanced its FortiGuard® Center, the online resource and update center that provides up-to-the minute information on breaking threats, vulnerabilities and security research. Fortinet's FortiGuard Center and team of security research professionals support the company's FortiGuard Subscription Services(TM) offering -- which includes FortiGuard Antivirus, FortiGuard IPS, FortiGuard Web Filtering and FortiGuard Antispam security research and update services.

The FortiGuard Center is Fortinet's threat update and security research hub, where visitors and customers can find timely threat and vulnerability information, as well as advisories, trend reports, deep threat analysis and the living "Virus World Map," which shows the top ten current threats per country.
