HOUSTON, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 3, 2008 -- Willbros Group, Inc. (NYSE:WG - News) announced that, at its 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders held May 29, 2008, Michael J. Bayer, William B. Berry and Arlo B. DeKraai have been re-elected to its Board of Directors. Mr. Fred Isaacs fulfilled his term at the Annual Meeting and has retired from his position as Director. Mr. Isaacs had served on the board of Willbros Group, Inc. since 2004.

Willbros also announced that proposals to amend its employee and director stock plans and to ratify the appointment of Grant Thornton LLP as the Company's independent auditors for 2008 were approved.
