Bonaventure Resumes Drilling at New Pass Project, Nevada

RENO, NEVADA--(MARKET WIRE)--May 21, 2008 -- BONAVENTURE ENTERPRISES INC. (CDNX:BVT.V - News)(Frankfurt:YQG.F - News) is pleased to announce the resumption of Reverse Circulation ("RC") drilling at the Company's New Pass Property (the "Property") located approximately 27 miles (43 km) west of Austin, Nevada. Bonaventure's current plan is to drill 23 RC holes totaling 12,000 ft (3,650 m). These holes are targeted at expanding the current Mineral Resources to the north, south and west of the known gold mineralization plus fill gaps not previously drilled within the resource.

Core drilling of two or three holes is also planned at the same time that will test the recently discovered fault-related gold mineralization situated west of the currently defined resource. The structure produced no recoverable samples in the deeper portions when drilled with RC in 2007. The two holes that discovered the structure are NP-0701 and NP-0607. Hole 701 contained 10 feet (3.1 m) of 0.050 oz/ton (1.71 g/t) gold and 0.05 oz/ton (1.8 g/t) silver and an additional 40 feet (12.2 m) of 0.029 oz/ton (0.99 g/t) gold and 0.85 oz/ton (29.0 g/t) silver below. Hole 607 contained 15 feet (5.3 m) of 0.013 oz/ton (0.45 g/t) gold and 0.10 oz/ton (3.4 g/t) silver and an additional 75 feet (22.9 m) of 0.029 oz/ton (0.99 g/t) gold and 0.99 oz/ton (33.9 g/t) silver below.

Bonaventure will continue to collect metallurgical samples from the drilling and anticipates having the first column leach tests completed by the end of Q3-2008.

The target at the Property is a near surface, open pit gold-silver system amenable to low cost heap-leaching. Deposits of this type generally have a much lower operating cost than underground mines and can be profitable at very low grades.
