the addition of
an established expert in the field of user experience design,
MIT Media Lab
alumna Karen Donoghue as its Vice President of Product.
Donoghue will be
responsible for both leading the design of the user experience
for Frame
Media's FrameChannel platform as well as helping Frame Media's
semiconductor, ODM, OEM and brand partners define unique
user experiences
on networked devices and appliances that are tightly integrated
with
FrameChannel content.

Along with her work at the MIT Media Lab, Donoghue has led
user experience
design for Linux devices at Motorola, led the user experience
design for
the SavaJe mobile platform (acquired by Sun Microsystems
in 2007, and
rebranded JavaFX Mobile platform) and founded and ran a
consulting practice
for several years focused on user experience. She is a published
author on
the topic with her book: "Built for Use: Driving Profitability
Through the
User Experience" published by McGraw Hill and an inventor
on several U.S.
patents related to user experience for devices. In 2006,
Donoghue was
honored as one of ten women in technology named to the Mass
High Tech
Newspaper's "Women to Watch" list.
