OptiCon (OSYS) to Establish Global Sales Initiative With New Office in Europe

Company to Open First European Office in UK

GRAPEVINE, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 14, 2008 -- OptiCon Systems, Inc. (OTC BB:OSYS.OB - News), a Network Management Software and Professional Services Company that enables medium and large companies to accurately and cost-effectively manage the physical and logical layers of their fiber and wire networks, announced today that it plans to expand its sales and marketing reach into Europe, by opening an office in the United Kingdom. The proposed initiative is set to be approved by the Board of Directors no later than May 30, 2008, with a provisional operational date of August 30, 2008. For the next few months the Company will work diligently to have the necessary resources for this proposed expansion.

While several cities are being considered, London is the first preference due to its easy access to all the major telecommunications centers in the UK, Europe, and beyond.
