"Company"), is pleased to announce the hiring of Greg Nickel
and Jeffrey Moe. Gregory Nickel rejoins the team at the Galena Mine as the Senior Exploration Geologist. Mr. Nickel will be responsible for underground exploration at the Galena, Coeur and Caladay mines. Mr. Nickel has previous experience at the Galena Mine as a mine geologist from 1988 through 1991. Mr. Nickel assisted the restart of the property during 1995 through 1997 as Chief Geologist and served as Chief Engineer through year 2000. Mr. Nickel was most recently employed by AMEC Earth and Environmental, Inc. as a consulting hydrogeologist for private, municipal and mining clients. Mr. Nickel has a degree in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, is a registered Professional Engineer, and brings 20 years of diverse mining, engineering, geology, and hydrogeology experience to U.S. Silver. Jeffrey Moe joins U.S. Silver as a Senior Mine Geologist at the Galena Mine. Prior to joining U.S. Silver, Mr. Moe was employed by Sterling Mining Co. as the Chief Geologist at the Sunshine Mine. He also worked as a mine and exploration geologist at the Sunshine Mine from 1995 through 2000. He has a Masters Degree in Geology from the University of Montana, and is a candidate for a PhD in Geology from Dartmouth College. Mr. Moe has more than 20 years of experience in mining geology, data management, and computer aided design. He will be responsible for geologic modeling in support of production and exploration programs, as well as data management, quality assurance/quality control, and estimation of ore reserves for the company. US Silver currently employs over 200 people at its Silver Valley mining complex in addition to approximately 60 contract staff. Employment levels will continue to grow as production levels increase through 2008.
