New Cantech Appoints Kerr for Investor Relations

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 12, 2008 -- New Cantech Ventures Inc. (CDNX:NCV.V - News)(Frankfurt:C7X.F - News) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Doug Kerr of Kerr Consulting to support the Company's investor relation activities.

Mr. Kerr will initiate and maintain contact with the financial community, shareholders and investors. In addition, he will assist New Cantech's management in strategizing, formulating and implementing its communications programs. Mr. Kerr has extensive experience in investor relations and corporate communications services and has represented several successful publicly trading companies in the last twenty years.

As part of this three month Engagement Agreement, extendible by mutual agreement, Mr. Kerr is to be paid a fee of $5,000 per month. The agreement announced today is made subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
