MWW Automotive Group Awarded Contracts for Customized Accessories for 2009 Toyota Models; Programs Expected to Contribute $7-9 Million in Revenues Over Product Life Span HOWELL, MI--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 5, 2008 -- MWW Automotive Group (OTC BB:MWWC.OB - News) ("MWW"), a
global design and engineering firm that customizes accessories
for leading
international automobile manufacturers, today announced
that it has been
contracted to design, manufacture and deliver several key
customized
accessory programs for Toyota 2009 models, which will begin
to be sold in
2008. Each program is awarded for the car model's lifespan, typically three to five years. The contracts, awarded through three of Toyota's largest U.S. Vehicle Processing Centers -- South East Toyota, Gulf States Toyota and Toyota Canada International -- are expected to run through 2013. The contracts include the third generation of Corolla spoilers awarded to MWW. Toyota's Corolla is one of the best selling cars in the world, and MWW expects these new programs to contribute from $7 million to $9 million to MWW's revenues over the lifespan of the product. The new accessory programs consist of: -- A lip spoiler for the 2009 Toyota Corolla. -- A bridge spoiler for the 2009 Toyota Corolla. -- A rear spoiler for 2009 Toyota Matrix.
Spoilers are accessories usually added to the rear of a car to create an aerodynamic look. They are one of the most popular accessories among automobile consumers seeking a sportier appearance to their cars to reflect their individual lifestyles. First launch quantities of the Corolla lip spoiler were shipped to South East Toyota and Gulf States Toyota in late December 2007 and January 2008. Additional shipments for all products are scheduled to continue in the first and second quarter of 2008. The quality of MWW's design and the ease and cost-effectiveness of the installation of its products contributes importantly to sales and income for MWW and its customers. MWW custom designs these spoilers for the new automobile models being sold in the North American and European markets and also provides complete installation programs, including installation fixtures. These programs allow a the Vehicle Processing Centers' technical teams to efficiently install MWW's products without compromising quality, style or workmanship, while meeting the expected high demand for these new automobiles from their domestic dealer network. James Marvin, Chief Operating Officer of MWW Automotive Group, said, "We are delighted to receive these new contracts from Toyota's Vehicle Processing Centers, representing the largest automobile manufacturer in the world, noted for its rigorous pursuit of top quality production on every level. They testify to our company's 7-year track record of excellence with one of the most demanding manufacturers in the industry." Mr. Winzkowski, CEO of MWW, added, "In the next few months, we expect to rapidly expand our footprint as a global company, as we make several U.S. products available to the European markets through Modelworxx, our subsidiary in Munich, Germany, and make Modelworxx's European products available to U.S. markets. Modelworxx has been certified as a supplier for Toyota Motor Europe, adding to its longtime relationships with BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce. Modelworxx's first shipment of the Toyota RAV 4 running board accessories has been delivered to Toyota Motor Europe, as announced last month, and production for follow up orders has commenced. Plans for distribution of this new product into other European countries are currently in discussion with Toyota Europe. MWW expects to see substantial growth to our bottom line through these activities in 2008."
