MCLEAN, VA--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 19, 2007 -- Base Technologies, Inc. of McLean, Virginia, in cooperation with the National League of Cities (NLC), have announced that they would feature a free live Webcast on Congestion and Commuter Programs on NLC's Internet TV Channel, National League of Cities TV (NLC TV, www.NLCTV.org), Friday, September 21st at 1:00 PM ET. Targeted to decision makers in the municipal governments of NLC's 1,600 member cities, the Webcast's panel of experts will discuss transportation demand management (TDM) methods of reducing congestion. The discussion will include how to create, fund, and manage commuter alternative programs (i.e. rideshare, telework, transit) with a special emphasis on the experience of cities that have deployed TDM solutions to reduce highway congestion, vehicle emissions, and fuel usage.
