Willbros Elects John T. McNabb, II, S. Miller Williams and Robert L. Sluder to Board HOUSTON, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 1, 2007 -- Willbros Group, Inc. (NYSE:WG - News) announced that,
at its 2007 Annual Meeting of Stockholders held May 30,
John T. McNabb, II,
S. Miller Williams and Robert L. Sluder have been elected
to its Board of
Directors. Mr. Sluder, a new director of Willbros, was President
of Kern
River Gas Transmission Company prior to his retirement in
December 2005.
Mr. Sluder was also Senior Vice President and General Manager
of The
Williams Companies in Salt Lake City. Mr. Sluder takes the
place of Rodney
B. Mitchell, who fulfilled his term at the Annual Meeting
and has retired
from his position as Director. Mr. Mitchell had served on
the board of
Willbros Group, Inc. since 2001.
