COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho----Hecla Mining Company today reported net income applicable to common shareholders of $22.5 million, or 9 cents per diluted common share, on revenue of $95.2 million in the third quarter of 2009, compared with a loss of $7.2 million on revenue of $68.5 million for the corresponding quarter in 2008.
