Autostrada Torino-Milano manages a number of roads that don't lead to Rome -- and one that does. A leading Italian tollway operator (behind Atlantia, formerly known as Autostrade), Autostrada Torino-Milano was established to construct and maintain the Turin-Milan motorway. It also controls a number of motorway concessions that operate tertiary tollways in northern and central Italy. One of its roads connects Pescara, on Italy's Adriatic coast, with Rome. Autostrada Torino-Milano's main source of revenue is the collection of traffic tolls. Argo Finanziaria, the holding company for the Gavio family, controls the company.
