At one time all roads led to Rome, but now all Rome-bound airline passengers pass through Aeroporti di Roma (ADR) airports. Italy's largest airport management company, ADR oversees the capital city's Leonardo Da Vinci airport (Fiumicino) and the Giovan Battista Pastine airport (Ciampino). The company manages the infrastructure of the airports (including utility, retail, and telecommunications services) and provides security services. About 140 airlines fly in and out of Rome delivering more than 38 million passengers each year. ADR also manages parking facilities and operates retail stores inside the airports. The company is part of Italian holding company Gemina.
