White Martins doesn't mind giving its customers gas. The company, a subsidiary of global industrial gas giant Praxair, is South America's largest provider of industrial, specialty, and medical gases. White Martins serves customers in the chemical, health care, metal fabrication, and the food and beverage industries, among others. From its home base in Brazil, the company operates throughout much of the continent. White Martins formerly manufactured welding and cutting equipment, though it does so no longer having exited that business after 2007.
