Its train lines offer intercity, rural, and commuter services and include c2c, 'one', and Stansted Express. National Express operates bus services in the West Midlands and in Coventry, Dundee, and London, and it operates intercity coach services within the UK and from the UK to Ireland. Other subsidiaries offer school bus services in the US (Durham School Services) and Canada (Stock Transportation) and another provides bus and coach services in Spain. In mid-2009, the company rejected a $1.12 billion buyout offer from CVC Capital Partners and another group.
