Being among the world's leading magazine publishers is just one of the things that makes Lagardère Active quite fashionable. The company produces some 260 magazines -- including popular fashion magazine "ELLE" and Parisian what's-hot-and-what's-not journal "Paris Match" -- in some 40 countries on five continents. Other titles in its portfolio include Car & Driver, "Metropolitan Home," Premier, American Photo, Cycle World, and Woman's Day. Lagardère Active also has radio stations and TV production operations. French conglomerate Lagardère owns the company, which formed as a result of the merger between Hachette Filipacchi Médias (print) and Lagardère Active (radio, TV, and digital holdings).
